To be eligible to receive water and sanitary sewer service from Southwest Metropolitan, a property must be located within the District boundaries.

In addition to the District’s water tap fee, Denver Water assesses system development charges for all connections made to District facilities. In addition to the District’s sewer tap fee, the City of Littleton assesses a sewer tap fee for all connections made to the District facilities.

Permission to withdraw water from a fire hydrant owned by Southwest Metro requires a fire hydrant use permit issued by the District and the Denver Water Department.
