2023 Earth Day River Clean-Up

South Platte Renew (SPR) invites residents of Englewood and Littleton to volunteer by collecting debris and trash from their neighborhoods, local rivers, lakes, and parks.

Volunteers can participate virtually or attend the in-person events on April 22nd. New this year: in-person locations in Englewood and Littleton!

Join the South Platte Renew River Clean-Up on April 22, 9 a.m. to noon, at locations in Littleton and Englewood.

Virtual Clean-up | April 10-22:

Volunteers can join SPR from their communities by collecting debris and trash from their neighborhoods, local rivers, lakes, or parks. Over the two-week period, volunteers can choose their preferred date, time, and location to keep local recreation areas clean, safe, and looking their best.

In-Person Clean-Up | April 22:

Event locations in Englewood and Littleton.

Littleton: Mary Carter Greenway Trail @ Riverside Downs

  • Time: 9 a.m. to noon
  • Address: 2600 W Belleview Ave, Littleton, CO 80123 (Riverside Downs parking lot near Pedal Bike Shop)
  • Check-in/Supplies: We will have a check-in booth set up on the Trail with supplies and safety equipment.
  • Parking: Enter on S Prince St near Pedal Bike Shop

Englewood: Centennial Park

  • Time: 9 a.m. to noon
  • Address: 4630 S Decatur Street, Englewood, CO 80110
  • Parking: Decatur Street park entrance. Additional parking at the Union Ave. entrance
  • Check-in/Supplies: We will have a check-in booth set up at the Decatur Street parking lot with supplies and safety equipment.
